Our Investment Philosophy
At Sonnenberg we follow a value-oriented top-down investment strategy, aligned to realize a sustainable and an excellent risk-adjusted performance. The starting point is our fundamental assessment of the economy, the political environment and an analysis of the current valuation of different assets classes. Based on this information, the relative attractiveness of different asset classes is determined to take advantage of market opportunities, where current price and underlying value are misaligned, and to manage overall portfolio risk.
The product of our investment philosophy is a well-diversified long- term asset allocation aiming to deliver strong risk-adjusted returns for our clients. This long- term asset allocation is regularly reviewed for its fit with the corresponding risk profiles, as well as our expectations of long-term market returns, volatility, and correlations.
